Good morning Punters - what an anti-climax the boxing was last night! I can't believe an event that takes so much revenue can't get things to run to schedule, or organise enough security to protect a boxer on his entrance. Haye undoubtedly lost to a more superior fighter in size and skill but his excuses about his toe are wide of the mark.
The damp squib that was the boxing match was meant to be the highlight of the weekend - but I think the men's singles finals at Wimbledon will be of a much higher calibre. My pick of Nadal to dominate Djokovic looks good vale at the 6/4 advised, I will also be backing Nadal in 3 sets to nil @ 3/1.
Yesterdays horse racing only showed a small return - with the impressive SoYouThink being the nap of the picks returning at even money and Start Right only getting a place after being unlucky in running for the 2nd race running!
Today's horse racing picks are both abroad - I have layed Brown Panther in the 4.35 at Hamburg, I can't see this winning after losing serious weight after Ascot. £17 layed for £39 on Betfair seems a fair wager.
My second pick is Zoffany in the 2.45 at Chantilly - aiden O'brien's stable is in peak form and should claim this prize in a small field. Early rides were az high as 9/4 but now 6/4 is looking good value.
Best of luck
