TGI Friday and the end of the month - today see's the men's semi finals at Wimbledon get underway and the weather looks as if we will get a full days play. Well 'our boy Andy' is up against Rafa in the 2nd match on Centre Court, and I will be routing for Andy but my wallet is gonna be screaming for Rafa. He is just under 3/1 to win the match by 3 sets to 1 and crash a Nations hopes of seeing a Brit lift a title at Wimbledon since Fred Perry back in 1936. The first game see's Djokovic take on Roger Federer's conquerer - Jo Wilfred Tsonga and I feel the 5 setter played by the Frenchman against Federer take its toll - I will be backing the same 3 sets to 1 outcome in that too at 14/5.
Wimbledon
Nadal to win 3 sets to 1 - 14/5
Djokovic to win 3 sets to 1 - 14/5
This afternoon see's Sandown kick off there two day Coral Eclipse event with a couple of Class 1 races on the card. It is hard to see beyound the first 3 or 4 in the betting and my selections seem to be at small prices - nonetheless - when backed in a Yankee or a Heinz with the Tennis picks they provide a healthy return!
In the first (2.20) Ritual can defy top weight & a poor high draw and continue where he left off in November, after winning three on the bounce - Jeremy Noseda has the impressive Ryan Moore on board and he is available at 10/3 in most places.
The 2.50 is another 5f sprint and this time Ryan Moore has the favourable low draw on Bear Behind - he is from the same Dam as co-favourite Kohala but is best priced at 11/4 with Stan James.
You can't go wrong with a Richard Hannon 2 year old and he usually has them going well fresh so Nant Season at 7/2 is good value in the 3.25.
And to complete the selections at Sandown in the 4.00 is Class is Class - this horse has showed an improvement since being visored by Sir Michael Stoute last season and went close last time out at Goodwood on the 21st of May with a solid 2nd, he is available at 11/2 with most bookies.
Sandown
2.20 - Ritual 10/3
2.50 - Bear Behind 11/4
3.25 - Nant Season 7/2
4.00 - Class in Class 11/2
More to follow on the blog tomorrow where I will be reviewing Sandown's feature card - and hopefully advising you on what to spend your winnings from today's selections on. Good luck - remember to make the most of the free bet offers advertised on here and the freepunt blog - I will be adding some new offers over the weekend with Sporting Index etc.
I have set up a facebook page so that I don't have to post this on peoples profiles - you may have had an recommendation - can you 'Like' the page and spread the word to your networks - much appreciated.
