Wimbledon & David Haye

Well my tennis bet has been knackered by the loss of Roger Federer to Tsonga - if you did back him on Betfair you could have layed the bet off as short as 1.01 when he was two sets up!!  So it looks like I will have to revert back to my original choice of Nadal to retain his - as long as his ankle holds up!  He is widely available at 6/4 which seems pretty skinny - I would recommend backing him but with a small saver on Murray to make the final incase the injury is worse than feared - you can get 4's on Murray making the final.

FC Hamburg's ground is the venue of the Heavy Weight Title Boxing match between David Haye & Wladimir Klitschko and there is plenty of value to be had in this match.  If you are quick and get on to Betfair you can back both boxers to win on points and make a profit!  I have backed Haye at 12.5 and covered my bet with a small saver punt on Klitschko @ 5's!  Both boxers have strong chins and should last the distance, although Haye has been boasting about knocking out the 'Robot' with his 'Amzing speed' that he has recently found!  Most heavy weight bouts last the distance and I am pretty sure the cocky Cockney and his travelling fans will see Bitschko 'going home in a fucking Ambulance!'

Wimbledon & David Haye

Good day to you all, I have been away in Switzerland hence no updates on the blog and no tips.  Hope you all had a profit from Ascot and backed many winners and places!

Wimbledon is drawing to a close and there seems to be some good value to be had in the Mens market - my choice is going to be for Roger Federer (@ 9/5 or 2.82) to win his record 7th title (back him on Betfair - so you can exit/lay the bet off if the injury news on Nadal is not as severe as first thought).  I had thought that Nadal would win it, but his appearance in the post match conference after the Del Potro win leads me to think he can not make it through to the final with the injury.  Novak Djokovic is a tough challenger and has only lost one match this year, whilst I could see Murray losing to Federer in the final - Murray is an interesting 6/4 to make the final which is not a bad shout if I am right about Nadal's injury.

Well yesterday proved to be fruitful if you backed my tips in an e/w Yankee - with three placed horses at 16's, 8's & 6's rewarded a £90 return!  Not winners but there was profit at least.  Whilst our guest tipster Dermo got a winner and a nice place at 16's - an improvement but a long way to go.

Todays tips for Royal Ascot Day 4
                          Owen                                           Dermo
2.30           Inetrobel 8/1                               Teolane        7/4
3.05           Nathaniel     3/1                         Glens Diamond        10/1
3.45           Joviality       9/1                         Theyskens Theory     6/1
4.25           Shamali       14/1                        Green Destiny          15/8

Again I would back these in an e/w yankee or Lucky 15 - Final Day tomorrow - tips will be up on the blog early after the Morning Line.

Good luck

ROYAL ASCOT DAY 3

Well Day 3 is here already and the rain looks as if it is here to stay for the coming week!  That means one thing - that hopefully the favourites are going to get beat..............see below for today's tips from myself & Mr O'brien.  You may have noticed that I have changed his picture - and unless he starts picking winners I will have to replace it with an even dodgier one!

Ascot                              Owen                                           Dermo
2.30                    Crown Dependency  7/1                Charles the Great   20/1
3.05                    Zain Al Boldan          9/1                Fields of Miracles  33/1
3.45                    Opinion Poll              16/1              Fame & Glory       3/1
4.25                                                                          Polar Kite             22/1
5.35                    Census                      6/1

Best case scenario is to place these in a Lucky 15 or Yankee.

Let us not forget that the US Open starts later this afternoon and the 1st day 3 balls have thrown up a very interesting group with the Worlds Top 3 playing against each other - Donald, Westwood & Kaymer.  I am going to shy away from picking the winner of the 3 ball although Kaymer is an attractive 23/10 to post the best score.  Instead I'll be cheering on the left-hander Phil Mickleson to win the Outright - at an attractive 16/1.
Dermo is going to be routing for the friendly German Martin Kaymer at some great value of 30/1.

PaddyPower are offering e/w odds and paying to 6 places so are my choice to back with

Please check out the offers on Free Bet Offers - as they give good value but also protect your prices.  I had 3 winners on a Yankee (bet online with PPower) on Tuesday which paid just over £50 and a friend did the same bet with Ladbrokes (in shop) but received £24!!  And did not get a free bet - its well worth betting online as most bookies will offer Best Odds Guaranteed.

Good Luck

Wednesday, 15 June 2011

I'm on the move today and not on my PC so updating via iPhone so apolgies if this isn't in a readable format.
After a great day yesterday I had 3 winners from four on my Yankee, I hope you all have a war chest to beat the bookies with today!
My picks are on the first four races at Ascot
Owen. Dermot
2.30 - Fury. Havane smoker
3.00 - music show. Sajjha
3.45 - so you think. So you think
4.15 - start right. Lord ayern

Good luck with these and please give Dermot some stick for only picking a 10/30 shot yesterday! I'm sure his tips will follow a similar fashion today and the rest of the week.

ROYAL ASCOT

The US Open starts on Thursday but before then we plan on winning some money off the bookies at the Royal meeting at Ascot.  The worlds best horses and trainers pit themselves against each other for some pretty big prize money, and to mark the special occasion the Punters Perogative has signed up tipster expert Dermot O'brien -  to help sort the donkeys from the winners - below you will find our tips for today's big races.  You have to decide who you are going to follow?

Tuesday             Dermot                         Owen
2.30pm -      Goldikova @13/8        Canford Cliffs @6/4
3.05pm  -     Sole Power @8/1        Kingsgate Native @9/1
3.45pm  -     Frankel @2/5               Frankel @2/5
5.00pm -      Junior @4/1                 La Estrella @40/1
Backing these in a Yankee or Lucky15 would bring about some big returns!
